About Mafutaga

Each week, we gather to share in uplifting activities specifically designed to keep our mātua strong in mind, body, and spirit. Many of our community members have journeyed from across the Pacific, carrying deep cultural knowledge and a legacy of resilience. We understand that adjusting to life in a new country can bring challenges, so we provide a culturally safe space where identity is affirmed, belonging is strengthened, and genuine connection is restored.

Gathering Times & Locations

Our sessions run during QLD School Terms from 10:00am – 1:00pm. We meet every week, alternating weekly between our two community hubs:

• Week 1: Gold Coast (Wednesday)

  Coomera Community Space, 133 Finnegan Way, Coomera.

• Week 2: Logan Central (Friday)

  MultiLink Community Centre, 13-15 Garfield Road, Woodridge.
